DSCLES is proud to announce that Michael Barrett was officially recognised as the “Q Mark Hero 2016” for his outstanding commitment to customer service and team spirit.

Michael Barrett being presented with his national Q Mark Hero award by Minister Leo Varadkar TD and Ms Irene Collins EIQA CEO.
Michael was presented with his award by the Minister for Social Protection, Leo Varadkar TD, at the annual Q Mark black-tie dinner, in the Double Tree Hilton hotel, on Friday September 30th 2016. Irene Collins, EIQA CEO, congratulated Michael on being the first recipient of this new award that recognises the unique and unparalleled contribution made by a particular employee to the life and work of a company.
Nominating Michael for the national award, his colleagues said of him:
“Michael is consistently in good humour; always has a smile, a cheery word and a joke for you, no matter what the weather, no matter how busy he is. We rely on him for so many of the unseen elements of our day-to-day operations and it is only when he is on holidays that we realise how many tasks he performs that make the operation run smoothly. Michael never complains and will always go that extra mile to help a colleague or a client. He takes time with people and is genuinely concerned about the person and how he can help them.”
